WKSU Folk Festival 2008...

Be sure to stop and visit the WKSU Folk Festival in Kent, Ohio where you will find more than 35 free concerts celebrating the tradition of Folk Music.  This year the 42nd annual festival will take place Thursday November 6- Saturday November 15.  Visit www.kentstatefolkfestival.org for more information and event listings.

James A. Garfield Historical Society Christmas Walk...

The 2008 Christmas Walk for Garrettsville, Ohio will take place November 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, and 16.  There will be a special candlelighting on Thursday November 6th.  Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the start of the walk, The James A. Garfield Historical Society inside the Mott Building on High Street. Don't miss the 4 beautiful homes, area crafters, wonderful dinners, and more as we welcome the holiday season to the little town of Garrettsville, Ohio!

Anne Haynam comes to The Hiram Inn for exclusive cooking classes:

Local favorite Chef Anne Haynam will begin a series of cooking classes in the month of November. Tuesday November 11 and Friday November 14, Anne will have a hands-on class focusing on Holiday Appetizers just in time for you to impress all of your friends and family this year!  Social hour with a cash bar begins at 5:30pm, class will commence at 6:15 and run till approximately 9:00.  After the class is finished, Anne will continue baking all of the products and they will then be available for everyone to partake.  This package includes an overnight stay at the Hiram Inn, breakfast the next morning, all materials for the cooking class, and printed literature.

2 Adults:  $139.00, based on double occupancy

1 Adult:   $ 95.00, based on single occupancy

Hiram Madrigals...

The Hiram Inn is pleased to announce that once again we will be offering a special package for guests coming to the Hiram Madrigals.  Performance dates are December 12, 13, and 14.  The package this year includes the following:

$175-2 tickets to the Madrigal with buffet dinner, overnight stay for two in a standard room at the Hiram Inn, a complimentary bottle of wine or champagne, and breakfast for two the next morning.
